 | Billy Hoeft and Ken Hubbs pitch in at local homeless shelter Friday, March 16th, 1962: It is always good to see local athletes use their popularity and status for the good of the community. Today, Billy Hoeft and Ken Hubbs pitched in at local homeless shelter, serving meals for hundreds of underprivleged citizens of Cincinnati."It's the least we can do", added Hoeft."I don't do it because I'm a member of the Cincinnati, I do it because I care about the community. There's plenty of women and young children among these people, and giving them a hot meal uplifts me as well. Seeing the looks of appreciation on their faces makes it all worth it." | |
