 | SL2 Names Stingers Barker Winner Monday, June 4th, 1962: It was announced today that Greensboro left fielder Ray Barker had received the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .455 BA (10-22), 1 home run and 6 RBIs.
